What People Say

Wildernest resort is again a very Indian concept in the sense jungle on the trip state borders of Maharashtra Karnataka and Goa! They have the restaurant like a log house in all wood, rooms on a machan with beautiful kannada flower names. The local ecosystem has been preserved and it's the local residents running the place. The food is local flavor with omlette and boiled eggs too for breakfast. The decor is Indian with fresh flower bowls and rangoli around it! There is a slope train being constructed for ferrying the guests from the parking to the resort! A wonderful experience!

It was a wonderful experience to stay at this resort. I was absolutely blown away by the location. In a cable car, you are taken from the parking lot to the resort, which is located at a higher elevation. The view from our room was of a valley with four to five waterfalls, which looked out over the beautiful hills of the western ghats. The rooms were spacious and decorated in a wooden and traditional manner. It is a breathtaking experience to be surrounded by nature and the peaceful serenity of the forest. From taking a stroll through the lush green pathways to enjoying a meal at a scenic outdoor restaurant, there is plenty to explore and experience in this expansive resort. The vast area allows for privacy and tranquility, making it the perfect retreat for those seeking a break from the chaos of city life. The infinity pool was clean and we had a really good experience in the pool as well. Overall, this is a great place to be, especially for couples. However, the only downside was the lack of available sun loungers as they were often occupied by other guests. I suggest staying for at least two nights to fully experience everything it has to offer. However, for those who do enjoy the monsoon, it can be a magical time to enjoy nature's beauty. The lush greenery, the soothing sound of rain, and the refreshing smell of wet earth all come together to create a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It is also a great time to indulge in activities such as trekking to magnificent waterfall, and wildlife spotting, as the monsoon brings new life to plants and animals. So, for those who embrace the rain, it can be a wonderful time to be outdoors and appreciate the beauty of the world around us. Don't forget to try the delicious traditional Goan food while you're there too!

What a lovely place and an awesome start to our married life. Everything was beautiful from the infinity pool to the food to the treks! I’d suggest to stay at least for 2 days to enjoy the stay as well as enjoy all the activities it comes with. A good way to disconnect from your normal life and soak in at Wildernest. Super friendly staff. The food was fresh and yummy showing the Goan cuisine. The pool was clean and was very refreshing! Definitely going back here again but this time during monsoons to enjoy the waterfalls!

We have just stayed for four wonderful days at this place. We had a plunge pool room which afforded fabulous views over the valley below. Food was also varied and good and staff were happy to accommodate any needs. Guiding staff were very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. The walks were unforgettable and the staff very sensitive to clients’ interests. It should be noted that pathways throughout the property are quite rough and lighting is subdued, so bringing a torch and good footwear are advisable. Morning and evening temperatures are very pleasant (late January) and afternoons are hot. Fantastic if you love the outdoors.

I cannot begin to explain what a mesmerizing experience we had at Wildernest Nature resort. We started off with this awesome ride with a rail ride through the forest. Wildernest was kind enough to let us check in early after which we had a splendid lunch…. Ooooh… and the room and the pool….. just lit AF!!!!!✨✨✨✨ we could see 4 waterfalls from the pool and we didn’t leave the pool pretty much 😂 and there were folk dances by the traditional Goan dancers… and trekking and pottery and lots and lots of fun!!!! Its a must visit for anyone❤️❤️❤️
