Refund and Cancellation Policy

We understand that travel plans may change, and we strive to be as flexible as possible while ensuring fair compensation for our partners and service providers. Below is our refund and cancellation policy for all KTC trips and experiences.

1. Cancellation by Traveler

  • 30 Days or More Before Trip Start: 90% refund (10% deduction as processing & admin fee).
  • 15-29 Days Before Trip Start: 50% refund.
  • 7-14 Days Before Trip Start: 25% refund.
  • Less than 7 Days or No-Show: No refund.

Note: Refunds will be processed within 7-10 working days after cancellation.

2. Rescheduling & Transfer

  • Instead of canceling, you can transfer your booking to a friend or family member at no additional cost (up to 2 days before the trip).
  • You may reschedule once for a future batch of the same trip (subject to availability), provided we are informed at least 15 days in advance.

3. Cancellation by KTC

  • If KTC cancels the trip due to unforeseen circumstances (bad weather, government restrictions, safety concerns, or insufficient group size), you will receive:
    • A 100% refund OR
    • A full credit for another trip within 6 months.

KTC is not responsible for additional costs like flights, train tickets, or hotel bookings made independently by the traveler.

4. Partial Refunds for Shortened Trips

  • If a trip is shortened or modified due to natural calamities, road closures, or force majeure events, refunds will be considered case-by-case, depending on incurred expenses.

5. Refund Processing

  • All refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
  • No cash refunds will be provided.
