I had a wonderful stay at OffTheGrid for 3 nights right after monsoon season in traditional rooms, surrounded by pure nature, great hiking, a waterfalls, backwaters, birds beyond count, white water rafting, great food and a fantastic set of hosts in Jeeva and his wife Sowmya and the white water rafting legend John himself. For 4 days I was treated to a complete lack of doom scrolling as there is absolutely no internet or cell phone service on the property except for limited connection a medium hike away. The birds were constantly gossiping around me and provided a hearing backdrop to a very peaceful and deep experience of the Western Ghats. Sowmya is a wonderful chef and we were treated to delicious vegetarian meals including a classic wood fired pizza as a real treat. The rooms we had were simple, no fans, adequate running water, fully functional toilets, very little mosquitoes at that time of the year and I slept extremely well surrounded by the echoes of the jungle. The waterfalls are superb, the excursion on the backwaters a real treat and the hiking around the property (which one must always do accompanied by a member of the staff) were delightful. Both Jeeva and John are great hosts covering a wide range of topics. I was truly able to disconnect and immerse myself in nature without a care in the world. John and Sylvia’s aesthetic very closely matched mine which is that of very high quality simplicity. I highly recommend this if you are an avid naturalist and/or a birdwatcher or just looking to totally disconnect for a few days.

Off the grid is Off the grid in the true sense. No coverage (very limited emergency option Available). Thick forest. Amazing waterfalls within property. Best healthy homely n tasty food (lot of options like restaurant not available). Organic jams n farm visit nearby. Ramasadri viewpoint nearby (4×4 cars) - we saw black panther at this point. Hours of drive in the forest. Not much animal sightings, purely luck, but high chances of black panther, bear, indian gaur sightings in late night drives... Reasonably priced. Best service n ppl. It's a package.

As the name suggests, this place is truly 'off the grid,' with zero network connectivity. I recently had the pleasure of visiting and was highly impressed by how meticulously planned the entire place is. It's evident that years of thoughtful planning went into bringing this place to life. Some of the standout attractions include a mini swimming pool fed by a waterfall, a wood-fired pizza oven, a riverside dining area, a treehouse, and an open group activity area. The property is filled with cozy corners, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The waterfall within the property is undoubtedly the highlight. Evening conversations over a fantastic dinner with the delightful host, Sebastian, was the cherry on top. This is a must-visit destination, and I will definitely be returning.

The right place for all the nature lovers!! We had a lovely time here! This place is truly Off the Grid with no network and very close to nature. We were there for 3 nights and 4 days in Nov 2024. It was truly an amazing experience. The Place : We stayed at their stream side cottage as well as in the main building. Waking up to birds singing and the sound of stream was a luxury. They believe in sustainability and we loved our time here. Sebastian (The host) was very welcoming and helpful. He also accompanied us to the waterfall hike. Food : They serve fresh home cooked delicious food and wood fired pizza. Thanks to Jeeva and his wife who made sure that we were happily fed 😁 Pottery : They have a rustic pottery studio where we tried our hands at the art. Omkar is very knowledgeable and was very patient in explaining all the pottery details to us. We truly enjoyed it. We highly recommend an experience for all at this beautiful place. We are looking forward to visit again!!
